Members of peasant farming

Members of the peasant farm (with the exception of members of peasant farms engaged in the cattle breeding and the production of livestock products) are subject to social insurance on a voluntary basis.

A member of a peasant farm who has expressed a desire to become a person subject to state social insurance must be registered in the established manner with the state tax service as a payer of insurance contributions to the off-budget Pension Fund.

A member of the peasant farm, subject to payment of insurance contributions to the extra-budgetary Pension Fund, is entitled to pension provision in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Pension Provision of Citizens".

The right of a member of peasant farmer to receive a pension starts at the age of retirement or in other cases envisaged by the legislation.

Social insurance allowances are granted if the right to receive this allowance begins by a member of peasant farm during the period of payment of insurance contributions to the off-budget Pension Fund.

A member of a peasant farm independently determines the amount of insurance contributions to the extra-budgetary Pension Fund, based on the opportunities available to him and the desired amount of pensions and social insurance allowances.

The amount of the appointed pension, as well as social insurance allowances, depends on the amount of insurance contributions to the off-budget Pension Fund and the seniority of a member of the peasant farm.

The minimum amount of insurance contributions to the extra-budgetary Pension Fund should be at least four and a half times the minimum wage per year.

Payment of insurance contributions is made before October 1 of the reporting year. At the same time, the amount of insurance contributions is calculated on the basis of the minimum wage established on the day of payment.

Periods of payment of insurance contributions to the off-budget Pension Fund shall be included in the seniority of a peasant farm member.

When calculating the seniority for assigning pensions and allowance for state social insurance, a calendar year is counted in the seniority if a member of a peasant farm in this year has worked 12 months and paid contributions for at least 9 months.

In other cases, the seniority is taken into account proportionally to the number of months for which insurance contributions were paid.

The period of temporary incapacity for work of a member of a peasant farm is included in the seniority for the purpose of granting pensions and allowances for state social insurance, regardless of the payment of insurance contributions to the off-budget Pension Fund.

The fact that paid insurance contributions by the member of the peasant farm and its duration  is not confirmed by witness testimony.

The income of a member of a peasant farm for a specific month, taken into account when calculating the pension, is determined by dividing the amount of the paid monthly insurance contribution by the total percentage of contributions paid to employers and employees established by law and multiplying the result by 100.

The pension and allowances for social insurance are appointed by the district (city) department of the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance at the place of residence of a member of the peasant farm in the manner envisaged by the current legislation
