Deductions from pensions in accordance with article 65 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State pension provision for citizens":

• On the basis of court decisions, rulings, resolutions and sentences (in terms of property penalties), executive inscriptions, notary offices and other decisions in the resolution, the execution of which, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is carried out in accordance with the procedure established for the execution of court decisions;
• On the basis of decisions of the district (city) department of the off-budget Pension fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan in case of excessive payment of pension amounts to a pensioner due to abuse on his/her part (as a result of submitting documents with deliberately incorrect information, failure to provide information about changes in the composition of family members for whom loss of breadwinner is assigned) or as a result of accounting or another technical error.

It is not allowed to check and withhold (recover) overpaid amounts for assigned and (or) recalculated pensions, according to additionally submitted documents, for a period of three or more years preceding the date of commencement of the audit.

In case of disagreement of the pensioner with the decision of the district (city) department of the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on withholding overpaid pension amounts, the identified debt is recovered in court.

No other deductions from pensions other than those mentioned above are allowed.

The amount of deduction from the pension is calculated from the amount due to the pensioner for payment.

The amount of monthly deductions may not exceed 50 percent of the pension

In cases of termination of pension payment (for example, as a result of restoration of working capacity), until the debt on overpaid amounts of pensions is fully repaid, the remaining debt is recovered in court.
